Draw a Dolphin Easy
Why Learn How to Draw a Dolphin?
Learning how to draw a dolphin is a popular choice for kids, especially because dolphins can be added to so many ocean scenes. They can be swimming through waves, jumping out of the water, or even becoming part of a school logo, like one was for my son’s elementary school. A dolphin is made from some simple shapes, but almost all of them are curves, and curves can be trickier for young artists to draw than straight lines. This tutorial breaks those curves down into easy steps, so students can draw the dolphin’s body, fins, and tail more accurately.
Drawing Animals Helps Students Look Closely
Drawing animals is also a great way for students to learn more about the world around them. When they draw a dolphin, they begin to notice its habitat, body parts, and special features, such as its curved body, fins, tail, and more. Art can help students slow down and look more carefully, which makes it a natural connection to science and nature studies. The more details students notice, the more they understand what makes each animal unique.
